I once heard this in a meditation years ago. So what did I do? I came home and started cleaning out my house and getting rid of all of my stuff. It was a good idea at the time, but the message was a lot deeper than just being literal. My guides, higher self however you perceive it, was sharing with me what has now happened over a series of years of pulling back the layers of the subconscious and diving deep, being uncomfortable, emotional states of chaos and bliss all while maneuvering out of a frequency that was no longer serving me to a frequency where there is freedom. This process has stayed with me over the years and I now see how people have a choice to do this with their thought processes and how they navigate the world in general. There’s a place where we choose to expand into a higher consciousness and navigate the world from there. It’s like this choice point on some levels. We have these moments where if we are aware  enough to feel into the choice and if it feels amazing, that’s the direction we go. Doesn’t mean we still won’t have challenging times, but we are more aware of how to perceive and process them.

We all have old beliefs, thoughts floating around in our energy system, subconscious. Our bodies hold onto past life memories as well as our current life memories. I believe they come to the surface when they are ready to be worked through and released. We tend to hold on to them and for most it takes a crisis for any change or shift to occur. It’s unfortunate as humans that we do this to ourselves. I’ve continually heard lately all you have to do is vibrate out of it. Ok! Well!  from my perception that’s a bit vague and from a shamanic point of view, the shadow side of us will need to be revealed and the vibratory layer will have to be shattered and parts integrated back in. There is no right answer from my opinion, you have to take what resonates with you. Where are you at on the emotional scale? Where are you at consciously? If you are not in touch with your emotions, you’re going to have a challenging time vibrating out of anything. If you don’t know how to easily get out of an emotional state, again you’re going to have a challenging time vibrating out of any situation. We tend to hold on to those vibrational states and then we take them forward to another slightly different situation. I feel one of the keys is that we are addicted a bit to the fight or flight response as a human consciousness. Doesn’t mean we can’t learn to get out of that response, but it takes work and a lot of inner work. I feel when we find that place where we feel calm and joyful at times, we tend to believe it can’t last. It’s when the mundane sets in that we get fidgety and create something to happen, when all we really need to do is enjoy what is happening in the present. I know all of you know this, but do you take the time to be non-reactive, even if that means sitting in the mundane? Are you falling in love with the spaces where nothing is? If you really pay attention throughout the day, you will have moments when you are quiet where it’s possible not to have thoughts. It may happen only for a split second, but as you practice, this is where everything is in the nothingness of all creation.

Clearing the space in my opinion is the mental space which takes a lot of work and reframing of our thoughts on a continuous basis. What are our triggers? How long do you stay in the emotion before we decide to maneuver out of that emotional state? I think we all know when challenging circumstances arise, it has a deeper layer and meaning to it.

I love this poem by Rumi below!

The Guest House

This being human is a guest house.

Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,

some momentary awareness comes

As an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!

Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,

who violently sweep your house

empty of its furniture,

still treat each guest honorably.

He may be clearing you out

for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,

meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,

because each has been sent

as a guide from beyond.

~ Jalaluddin Rumi, translation by Coleman Barks

Your voice that you speak with every day is a vibrational tool that is at your disposal. USE IT MINDFULLY WITH YOURSELF AND WHAT IS OUTSIDE TO YOU! We are a container of resonance with thoughts and words that put out a vibrational frequency every time we speak! This is why it is so important to be wise of what tone you are using with the words you choose to speak. Especially with yourself! Believe it or not your thoughts have a vibration. Remember they come first and then the words, so each thought is a frequency in itself. I find this so fascinating! If we pay attention to what we are thinking and then speaking, it can change the outcome of so many circumstances! DON’T SPEAK ABOUT WHAT YOU DON’T WANT! And for that matter, don’t spend time having thoughts about what you don’t want as well. So POWERFUL!

Happy Summer Solstice on June 21st!
